This Privacy Policy explains how Calkura ("we", "us") handles information when you use calkura.com (the "Site"). By using the Site, you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
We do not ask you to create an account and we do not request personal information. The two ways information is handled are described below.
- Calculator inputs. Everything you type into a calculator is processed locally in your browser. These values are never sent to or stored on our servers.
- Aggregate usage data. We collect anonymous, aggregate statistics (such as page views and referring sites) through privacy-first analytics, described below.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate usage such as which pages are visited and where visitors come from. It is privacy-first: it does not use cookies, does not store information on your device, does not fingerprint you, and does not track you across other websites or build a profile of you.
Cookies
The Site itself does not set tracking cookies, and our analytics are cookieless. Your browser may store a small preference (for example, your light/dark theme choice) locally on your device; this never leaves your browser. If advertising is enabled (see below), third-party advertising partners may set cookies.
Advertising
The Site may be supported by advertising, including Google AdSense. When ads are served, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising via Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info. Where required by law, users in the EU, UK and similar regions are asked for consent before personalised advertising cookies are used.
Children's privacy
The Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Third-party links
The Site may link to external websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to read their policies.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. Because we do not collect personal information directly, most data is handled by the third parties named above; you can also exercise advertising opt-outs using the links in the Advertising section.
